The Home Screen

The first screen you will see is the Home Screen.

The Home Screen is split into three main sections.

  1. Actions
  2. Shift Details
  3. Map

Actions

The actions section will allow you to perform different contextual actions.

For example, if you are on site and ready to start a shift, you can press the green Start button to start your shift.

The main contextual actions are Confirm and Start.

Confirm

The Confirm button is used to confirm you are On Your Way to site.

Unless your employment agency informs you otherwise, the Confirm button will only become available two (2) hours prior to the shift commencing.

To confirm your shift, tap the purple Confirm button.

After confirming your shift, you will receive a pop-up message and your employment agency will receive a separate notification that you have confirmed your attendance.

Start

Once you are on-site and ready for work, press the green Start button.

You will also receive a pop-up message confirming you started your shift.

The start time and location will be recorded by MySirenum, this data is provided to your employment agency.

After starting your shift, two additional buttons appear.

Check-in and Finish button.

Use the Finish button to end your shift.

Again; all the time and location information will be passed to your employment agency.

Shift Details

The Shift Details section contains all the information about your shift.

Including:

  • Status
  • Time
  • Location
  • Additional information

Maps

The map section contains a button entitled Navigate.

Press this button to open Apple or Google Maps and get directions to the shifts location.

Within Maps, press the Directions button to navigating to the site from your current location.

Please Note: The mapping software is not part of MySirenum. The map is your default phone mapping app (e.g. Google Maps).

GPS must be enabled on your phone for this feature to function correctly.
