Sirenum fights fatigue with industry’s first Fatigue Index
With its October 2014 release, Sirenum added the ability to automatically track, alert and audit potential fatigue index violations, as defined by the Health and Safety Executive. Vital to highlighting potential safety risks for staff such as railway engineers and shunters, the fatigue index feature in Sirenum is the first such software feature for the industry and will be crucial for employers across multiple sectors that are covered by the HSE’s guidelines for tracking fatigue, including transport, manufacturing, construction and others where Sirenum is a key part of the workforce management technology strategy. From a workflow perspective, the Sirenum solution for fatigue index management is seamlessly captured as part of regular usage of the Sirenum platform, vastly improving accuracy and compliance over homemade systems, which require manual entry of data.
